Walk the most scenic sections of the coastal path on this 'Highlights' itinerary from Burntisland to St Andrews, passing through charming fishing villages en route. This itinerary takes in dramatic coastal scenery and long sandy beaches, as well as historic castles, caves, and an abundance of fresh local seafood. Stroll along the beaches at Kinghorn, visit the famous pre-historic caves of East Weymss and enjoy this spectacular coastline punctuated by lighthouses, iconic golf courses and quaint fishing villages as you make your way north to St Andrews. Why not try the award-winning fish and chips in Anstruther harbour while listening to the seabirds as they soar above the waves? Arrive in St Andrews and feast your eyes on the ruined castle, the expansive West Sands Beach, and world-famous "Old Course" golf course.
