Feedback Favourites: Free time to cruise Loch Ness & cycling at sixty!
We've received excellent feedback this week from our Adventurer's with great tips and advice for future walkers and cyclists!  From what walk to do next, to pleasant surprises, and cycling tours for all levels, we hope this feedback will help you when choosing how to spend your next holiday. Reading these reviews is certainly helpful to all of us at Macs Adventure;  as you share your experience with us, it keeps us on our toes as we read each review carefully and pass the advice and tips on to our future hikers and cyclists.   Wondering which walk to do next?  Great Glen Way gets 5 stars following Hadrian's Wall! 280.Caledonian-Canal-at-Laggan-LochsWeston Super Mare resident, Tina, loved the Great Glen Way for trying something new and enjoyed walking on a track.  "Brilliant walking, lovely scenery! We were able to see more of Scotland because the walking was easier and it allowed us time to do things like cruise Loch Ness and visit museums in the towns along the way.  B&B's were warm and friendly, I can't recommend them enough.  Highly recommend this walk."   Glasgow - a beautiful, clean and sophisticated city! Glasgow 'Richard, the Walker, from New York City is an affluent world traveller and would recommend The Highlands, Isle of Skye & Edinburgh to a friend.   "The Scottish people, its scenery, and (to our pleasant surprise) even the food were all wonderful.  Our expectations for Glasgow had been very low - I'd expected a rust-belt slum - and we were delighted to find a beautiful, clean and sophisticated city.  We went to Scotland mostly for the hiking and there everything was expected: we found Skye in particular to be a great place to hike and spectacularly beautiful. "   Donauradweg_Oberoesterreich "We're in our mid-sixties" Danube Cycle Path suitable for all! Wonderful scenery, relaxation and trying something new made the Classic Danube Cycle Path, Europe's most popular cycle path, a great experience for world travellers, Jim and Lyn from New Zealand. "A great trip with interesting scenery.  We found the cycling very easy considering we are in our mid-sixties.  While there was evidence of the recent floods, the cycle paths were in very good condition and easy cycling."  The Danube Cycle Path is perfectly suited for beginner cyclists, and families as the cycling is flat or gently downhill as you follow the Danube downstream. The route is well waymarked, paved and traffic free.   We hope this gives you a little Adventure Inspiration and helpful advice when making the exciting decision on where you will spend your next vacation.  Our expert team of Destination & Adventure Specialists are also an excellent resource, so please do not to hesitate to contact our team to help you start planning your next holiday.
