All Bike & Boat tours made with Macs Adventure are subject to booking conditions that are different from our standard terms and conditions. Please make sure that you read these carefully in addition to our standard Booking Conditions.

A binding contract will come into existence between you and us as soon as we have issued you with a booking confirmation invoice that will confirm the details of your booking and will be sent to you or your travel agent. Upon receipt, if you believe that any details on the booking confirmation or any other document are wrong you must advise us immediately as changes can not be made later and it may harm your rights if we are not notified of any inaccuracies in any document within ten days of our sending it out.

Cost, Deposit, and Balance

A booking is made with us when you pay us a deposit. For bike and boat tours this is 25% of the cost of the booking or full payment if you are booking within 6 weeks of departure. We issue you with a booking confirmation invoice. 

The balance of the cost of your arrangements (including any applicable surcharge) is due not less than 6 weeks prior to scheduled departure. If we do not receive this balance in full and on time, we reserve the right to treat your booking as cancelled by you in which case we shall retain your deposit.

Cancellation Policies

The following cancellation charges apply:

• Cancellation up to 84 days before departure: Cancellation Charge is 20% of the trip cost and at least 50 EUR per person
• Cancellation between 83 and 42 days departure: Cancellation Charge is 30% of the trip cost
• Cancellation between 41 and 28 days before departure: Cancellation Charge is 60% of the trip cost
• Cancellation between 27 and 4 days before departure: Cancellation Charge is 80% of the trip cost
• Cancellation from 3^rd day prior to departure date or no-show: Cancellation Charge is 90% of the trip cost

All travellers must be fully vaccinated at least 14 days prior to the departure date.

If fully vaccinated, a cancellation/full refund will only be possible within 28 days of your start date for the following reasons:

1. An official ‘Do Not Travel’ has been issued by your government for the country the trip is taking place in
2. A requirement to quarantine for 1-2 weeks in either the country your trip is taking place in, or when you return home
3. A health regulation in the country the trip is taking place in prevents you from taking part in the majority of the holiday – e.g. it is not possible to visit hotels or restaurants
4. A restriction on your entry to the country your trip is taking place in

Flexible Booking Option

Flexible booking conditions are offered for an additional £40/$45 per person. Please note that this is only available for Standard and Comfort cabins on the Carissima and Fortuna boats. This allows a change of dates (for any reason) until at least 28 days before your departure date. The price of your new dates would then apply.

Please note this ‘Flexible Booking Option’ can only be included at the time of booking, this cannot be added at a later date.

• Cancellation between 10 and 1 day(s) prior to departure date: Cancellation Charge is 90% of the trip cost
• Cancellation on the day of departure or no-show: Cancellation Charge is 100% of the trip cost
