The Inner Hebrides lie off the west coast of Scotland and are scattered along the mainland coastline south of the Isle of Skye. This multitude of smaller islands and their companions include Mull, the only island with a Munro (a mountain over 3000 ft), and idyllic Iona, along with the contrasting islands of Islay & Jura.Â
There are excellent wildlife watching opportunities on our Walking & Wildlife on Mull and Iona trip, and plenty of chances for whisky tastings and distillery tours on Islay & Jura. Iona is surely one of the most beautiful islands in the world - white-sand beaches stretch down to the turquoise sea - with a rich historic past that will surprise for such a small island.Â
The Isle of Skye is perhaps the most famous island of the Inner Hebrides and requires little introduction. We have a large variety of walking holidays on Skye from Drive & Hike, Rail & Hike and more challenging itineraries traversing the island from south to north. Check out our wide variety of Skye walking trips, some with a touch of luxury too!
