What’s the best way to discover the world? Travel is changing, and as independent adventure travel specialists we offer immersive cultural experiences in the form of active holidays for people who are interested in the world around them. At Macs Adventure, we firmly believe human-powered travel is the best way to see and discover the world around you.
Our library is a treasure trove of travel inspiration
In December 2016, Macs Adventure moved to Skypark in Glasgow, and we are simply delighted to have one of the most dynamic and interesting offices in Glasgow.
Sometimes you need time away from your desk to hang about!
The unique and travel-themed office is a bespoke solution developed by Julia Grant Interior Design and SJS Property Services, and it is an embodiment of the values Macs Adventure stand for and we can't thank everyone who has made this move possible enough.
You'll find us at:
2nd Floor
Skypark 5
45 Finnieston Street
Glasgow G3 8JU
The fun and practical new office features details like a map-inspired moss wall, a quiet room for focused working, a large kitchen with a herb garden and wine storage fridge for after-work events, modular furniture and whiteboard walls for interactive meetings.
Safe and fun bike storage!
There is bike storage, a large picture wall with photos from happy customers on trips with Macs Adventure, and stylish meeting rooms in a contemporary design, all named after the company values: Be Adventurous; Stay Active; It’s Personal; Have Fun; and Give a Shit.
Our company values are reflected throughout the office
More of those values we hold dear
“We’ve invested in making our office space a creative and collaborative hub for all our business activities,” says Neil Lapping. “We love the quiet spaces, noisy spaces, bike spaces, write-able walls, carefully planned AV and IT tech, and a design theme which brings the outdoors indoors and reflects all of our company values.”
Room for collaboration
Team culture is a hugely important part of life at the active, outdoorsy Macs Adventure. The team spend their free time hiking, biking, climbing, running and socialising, and they have an active culture club organising events like pancake breakfast, team lunches, regular quizzes in the office, book club, running club and much more. When moving to Skypark, the proximity to Kelvingrove park, gyms and health centers, and the many high quality cafés, restaurants and bars was one of the main attractions.
Making meetings a bit more casual!
Time out for tea (and cake, of course)
Macs Adventure sell active holidays to adventurous people who are interested in the world around them. We truly love and care about what we do.
...And of course we spend time working at our desks!
We believe that sustainable travel and adventure breaks down barriers, change perspectives, and makes the world a better place. Our holidays are in over 30 countries worldwide from Scotland to Spain, from Norway to Nepal, from Jersey to Japan.
Our kitchen space doubles as a meeting and collaborative working space
