Along the way you'll pass ancient villages, and spectacular sights, this area is a cyclist's and photographer's dream fro a reason. Distance: 120-140 km Grading: This trip is rated moderate due to the multitude of elevation gains and losses on day 3. the rest of the cycling is relatively flat and the distances are not far. Why Cycle it?

The sights that you will get to see are of true rural China, untouched by modern times and with a connection to its ancient roots. The surrounding landscape is characterized by karst mountains, dotted with an estimated 70,000 peaks, and  has inspired generations of famous Chinese painters and poets. Cross over a 400 year old bridge on the Yulong (Jade Dragon) River. Visit the fishing village of Liugong, an 800 year old village, known for its ancient houses and 'Three Pools.' The pools are three deep ponds that all have a different color. Cycle by rice paddies and bamboo-bordered waterways, then make your way up a rice terrace and fields of tea trees, take in panoramas of karst mountains surrounding you, sights that your average tourist doesn't get to see. Your final day consists of a bamboo raft ride down the Li River, one of China's most famous rivers. Bamboo rafts are the only type of boat that can be used on the river because of its depth. At the end of your ride you can explore places such as Elephant Hill, Returned Pearl Cave or the Thousand Buddha Cave.
