Take the time to visit Livade as you cycle through the Mirna River Valley towards Motovun. The town is in the heart of Croatia's truffle area, famous for its white truffle Magnatum Tuber-Pico, and the country aims to make this world renown delicacy available to the everyday individual. Stop in the artists' colony of Grožnjan, a small town with cobbled alleyways lined with art galleries and studios, music academies, and performing arts workshops led by well-known experts and teachers from music, art, and drama. Visit the Church of Sts. Vitus and Modesto, a Baroque church erected in 1770. Stay in the beautiful coastal of Poreč, an ancient Roman town that is entirely devoted to summer tourism, and with all of the sights it offers it's easy to see why. Stroll up Decumanus Street, starting at the 15th century Gothic Pentagonal Tower, one of three that formed part of the city walls. The street is the main thoroughfare through the Old Town, you can make a short detour off the street to Euphrasius Basilica, where if you stroll around back we hear it offers the best view of the sunset over the harbour.
