Why cycle Croatia's islands?

Croatia offers the best of both worlds; bustling cities and stunning landscapes. Your adventure starts in Split, a fascinating city situated between mountains and sea. At the heart of the city lies the ancient Roman complex of Diocletian's Palace. But exploring this wonderful place is just the beginning. Based in Split for your first three nights, you can explore the unspoiled islands of Solta and Brac, which offer beautiful cycle rides through vineyards and olive groves. The next day takes you to Hvar, where you can explore the ancient Greek site of Stari Grad, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Your home for the next two nights is Korcula, birthplace of adventurer Marco Polo. This island has beautiful marble streets and incredible medieval architecture. Next, move on to Dubrovnik, a beautiful and historic city which masquerades as King's Landing in the hit TV show Game of Thrones. Cruise through nearby vineyards and taste the delicious local wine. We would recommend adding on a couple of extra days to explore more of Dubrovnik before heading home!
